On 5th November we went to the Bonfire Night and Fireworks Display at Lancashire Mining Museum, along with a couple of thousand other people. There’s something almost hypnotic about watching a bonfire catch and grow, and this is my favourite image of the process, when it finally crossed a boundary and let rip. The figures are a bonus, as is the moon, just concealed enough behind the trees so it doesn’t end up as a white blob.
