Teaching Photoshop Imaging Skills
You have your new digital camera, so what is the next step in getting those images into the computer and starting to make the most of the material you have?
Photoshop is the definitive program for dealing with all imaging requirements and even a rudimentary knowledge will transform your photography.
You might simply want a digital equivalent of the darkroom, changing contast and brightness levels, cropping, removing the distracting details that went unnoticed when the shot was taken. Or you might want to restore images, smooth the skin of your model, make creative images from several shots and so on.
I can take you on a simple, easy to grasp path on those first steps and show you the basic techniques that you need to build your skills. This can be done at your home on your own computer so that you are working in familiar surroundings and on familiar equipment.
All the various versions of Photoshop have the same basic tools, so I normally teach using Photoshop Elements 7, Photoshop 7 or Photoshop CS2, but this will be expanding to include CS4 in the near future.
Pricing
My rate is based on £30 per hour or £45 for a two hour session, plus the cost of any other than local travelling.
